Dengeki CD Bunko Best Game Selection 6 - Emerald Dragon (1993)

Early CD Audio with good sound quality. The first 19 tracks sound as though they were specifically composed for CD Audio while tracks 20-32 feel like original synth tracks converted to CD Audio (I prefer this latter section, but then again I'm going through a ton of old synth music so whatever). Tracks 1-19 avoid sounding like midis and even have a orchestral feel at points, which early CD Audio does not always accomplish. Personally though, I've never been a big fan of the Emerald Dragon soundtrack. Nothing kills it for me though it is baseline pleasing to listen to. 8/10.
