Star Trader (X68000) (gamerip) (1991)

So, the instrumentation in this is very crisp, the beats are nice. Nothing is bad. But at the same time, nothing wows. It fills air, sounds pleasant sometime, but does not do much beyond that. The composer is obviously better skilled and the progression on this album is better than most (see the flourish at the beginning of track 12). But, it just never really kicks it. 7.75/10. Aside from that, I should also mention that the tracks are a bit long here, which results in the music dragging on a bit too long.

In my opinion,
