Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (Re-Engineered Soundtrack) (2004)

What is the point of "Re-engineered OST"when you have it already on this site?
For GBA games, people like to reconstruct the soundtrack from source to bypass quality loss from cart sample compression or the GBA sound system.

With GBA remasters sometimes it's fairly automatic, using samples from the cart with a tool like GBAMusRiper. Other times the "re-engineering" is more extensive, like the various efforts to re-sequence the Super Circuit soundtrack with original uncompressed samples from the Roland SoundCanvas 8850.

Compare a few tracks from both versions to see if you have a preference:

2. "Re-engineered": https://downloads.khinsider.com/gam...-amazing-mirror-re-engineered-soundtrack-2004

To me the 2nd version (the one on this page) sounds 'cleaner', and more crisp. Maybe a little cheesier. xD It's also easier to pick the different instruments apart. In the original they kind of blend together more due to the noise, which could be good or bad. Also these remasters tend to be mixed louder, so you might want to play with the volume.
