Strider Hiryu (X68000) (gamerip) (1992)

This is a well made album with a lot of varied tracks. The composer also plays a lot of tricks, albeit a weakness in the album is there are a lot of stressful tracks (see G Minor Reverse, for instance), so it is not as good in a listen-through. This album also uses whiny instrumentation at times, but it uses it well to create discordant tones (see Takeover!), but even then it's well done. Overall, solid album with a lot of good memorable tones. 8.5/10.
