Yakuza B-Sides (PS2) (gamerip) (2005)

- What's B-Sides?
It's a personal project I started with the goal of making "complementary"
albums to the official ones from the yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) series, with tracks
not present in them, be it tracks that were never released officially, or
tracks released in compilations that are relevant to the game, official
remixes, in-game versions of tracks that are different from the official
version, or unused/unidentified tracks. It's a project motivated by the huge
amount of high quality tracks present in the games that were left apart from
the OST releases.

- About Yakuza B-Sides
This album is the B-Sides corresponding to the first Yakuza game for PS2, with
tracks not present in the first volume of "Ryu ga Gotoku & Ryu ga Gotoku 2
Original Sound Track" with the exception of those that were already present in
the "Extract Medley", since I wanted to have them independently.
In this album I compiled a wide variety of tracks from cutscenes, locations,
minigames, jingles, and other extras. Given that the PS2 games have the
music from the cutscenes in the game files instead of being "baked" with the
dialogue and sound effects, it was an easy task to rip them properly.
Among other things, this album sees a proper release of the track "Tears of the
Father", which was an iconic track in the early Yakuza games, being remixed in
Yakuza 3 and Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan, but having never the original outside of the
"Extract Medley".
The tracks titled "Talk" and "Reminisce" are unidentified or probably unused, I
named them like that based on their original file names.
This album does not contain tracks from Yakuza Kiwami, which will have its own
B-Sides album.

I hope you enjoy this soundtrack as much as I did compiling it.
