The Fray soundtrack for the MSX2 is perhaps one of my favorite video games soundtracks that I've listened to. It's got this unique plucky sound (only rivaled by Dragon Half) that pushes the limits of the system. However, just because the sound track was good on the MSX2 does not mean it simply converts well into CD Audio. The first nine tracks here are native Turbografx synth and sound fair enough but the CD Audio tracks are just notably weak and sound like midis. Go listen to the MSX2, skip this.
