Description

Mega Man: Powered Up is an action-platformer by Capcom, released in 2006 exclusively for PlayStation Portable.
The game is a remake of the original NES Mega Man title and has similar gameplay and level designs. The game moves on a 2D plane and players are given control of the game's eponymous hero Mega Man.

Unlike the original's 8-bit graphics, the game uses 3D character models with super deformed designs. The music also got remixed to fit with the atmosphere of the game.

The game has a LOT more replay value aswell. From the get go, you have the option to play the normal game (in either New Style or Old Style), Challenges Mode where you have 10 unique challenges per character and Construction Mode that is similliar to Super Mario Maker Duology.
By beating a Robot Master with the Mega Buster, you will have access to them as a playable character. They will use their special weapon only, but have unique traits. The story is also diffrent to match them as the titular star.

The game was going to be the first game in a series of remakes, just like Maverick Hunter X, but has been considered by Capcom commercial failures, despite both having favorable reviews.

I like this whole OST a lot. It not only adds a whole lot of charm to the original Megaman, but also keeps the original as intact as possible. It's like a very dedicated and well adept fan remixed all the music, and another redid all the graphics, and this is the result. It's phenomenal.
