Paper Mario: Sticker Star (3DS) (gamerip) (2012)

Although Sticker Star is the weakest game in the series imo, the jazzy soundtrack really makes this one stand out. However, the soundtrack is pretty hit or miss. Take this from someone who really likes the game and the soundtrack as well.

The soundtrack is crap! The game is crap! Everything about sticker star, the music, the gameplay, the dialogue, the characters, are all a huge downgrade from the original series. I hate this game and it's soundtrack with a firey passion! Sticker star is an insult to the series, and any true paper mario fan will denounce sticker star!

Then why did you joined into a Vgm site which has this masterpiece of a OST? If you hate it,get out of here.

The evolution of paper mario music: paper mario (2000) was calm and smooth music, like it would be played while you were being put to bed as a child. Paper mario ttyd and super paper mario (2004-2007) more of a wacky take on music, with cartoony sounds and such. Paper mario sticker star and color splash (2012-2016) more jazz was inplemented into the music, and sounds like youre in a club. Paper mario origami king (2020) more of a calm musiic tone, like the first game in the series but also adds its scary music into the calmness with its quiet tones.

bro is trying to start an entirely new YouTube comment argument

I recently started replaying Sticker Star, and honestly, I don't think the game is that bad. My only complaint is that there are too many fights that you can encounter in a level, and maybe the fact that there are little original characters and partners, but it's no big deal for me. The OST is so good too. I don't get how people hate it, it's not a bad game, it's pretty ok.

Well, I knew this would pop up!
Paper Mario 4 (AKA Super Paper Mario 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Seal/Star, Super Paper Mario: Sticker Seal/Star) is an amazing 3DS Game, although millions will dispute this, overall.
The Music has a more jazzy feel and the Low HP variants feel like someone being drunk while playing instruments.
I n this list are MOST cut-scene music EXCEPT Kersti's Plea (Its important! We all know that!)
Also there WOULD have been a Low HP Variant of the battle music AFTER sacrificing Kersti.
The Music is amazing for a Handheld console,(PSVita was discontinued Mid-2015, Thanks to the 3DS of course!)
And it's a launch title too, A lot of sales, but poor ratings from the public. But still if you want, pick it up!
(Music won't work on a computer though...Even Windows 10 won't play it. But it works perfectly on a PSP, I wonder why?)

Idk if you'll see this but apparently Kersti's Plead is a midi sequence and isn't in the same folder as the other songs. There's 3 things in the game's sound folder: a "stream" folder (every song but Kersti's Plead) and two files that iirc have the same contents within them but are different file types. They take more effort to access and some of the folder names are just numbers making it hard to know what some are for. I did extract the midi sequence and the soundfont and managed to convert it into a flac and wav, though the song file fades after the first loop and not the second.

The night boo fever song from this game is simply one of the MOST underrated Mario songs of all time, we can say since all the songs from this game are underrated just because the game is Considered bad but the soundtrack is no less because in addition this song shows that they had a little love in the game as they made an entire song for just one very specific boo battle. I discovered this song thanks to a recommendation from a friend and after that I saw that there are several Mario songs underrated by the franchise so I'm thinking about even making a video just with these songs... if you want to see other underrated songs I recommend you listen the N64 Mario Artist soundtrack!

Listen, the original Paper Mario on the N64 was the first Paper Mario game I played. I have been a big fan of the series ever since. I hate it when the community insults each other over liking something they don't like. I really enjoyed sticker star despite its flaws. If a "True Paper Mario fan" can't like anything beside the Thousand year door than count me out of your little club.

Not to sound rude, but you would care if you read about the things above? This person was clearly online for a singular day only.
